Description / BMW M50-M52-M54 adapter plate
Like the first generation M52 engines(1995-1998) the second generation(1998-2000) is also limited on it's intake manifold. Bij swapping the original manifold with a M54 manifold the cars horsepower raises. The M54 manifold fits perfectly on the M52TU(1998-2000 double vanos) engines and only needs this adapter plate for the intake valve to work.
On the newer M54(2000-20005) engines this adapter plate can be used to change the original electronic intake valve with a mechanical version from an M50 engine. For example when using an aftermarket engine management system a mechanical intake valve is easier to use.
Available in 2 versions:
- Type 1, suited for M54B25 manifolds
- Type 2, suited for M54B30Â manifolds
